What happens in the event of a problem while you are away?

Can we request a drop off or pick-up at any time of the day?
Vehicles can be pre-booked for a 24 hour service, so you can expect no extra charges to be incurred for late nights or early morning transfers. However, extra costs are levied on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day
How can we book an airport transfer or seaport transfer?
How are we able to locate our driver?
You can meet your driver at a designated point inside the airport terminal and they will be holding a sign with your name on it. If you check your mobile phone, then our drivers will usually send a text containing their details so you would be able to contact them directly. Due to busy airports, you may not be able to locate your driver easily, in these cases, please contact the office and we will contact the driver to arrange another designated point – although this tends to happen rarely and most people are able to locate their driver on arrival. Alternatively, if you do not have a mobile telephone, please ask the information desk to page your driver.
Are child seats available?
We can provide child seats and booster seats should you require them.
What types of vehicle can we expect to travel in?
We have a wide range of comfortable vehicles, such as; Peugeot Estate, Skoda Superb Saloons and Estate, Audi Estate and Mercedes E-Class Estates. All vehicles have air conditioning, carry safety equipment and hands free phone equipment. Each vehicle can carry up to 4 passengers and a maximum of 4 suitcases and 4 small pieces of hand luggage.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Our office will monitor your flight arrival time and make the necessary arrangements for your collection.
Is your company fully insured and licensed?
Coastal Cars Airport Services are licensed by Canterbury City Council and all of our drivers are extensively vetted prior to employment and licensed by the local authority.
Is it possible to smoke in the car?
Unfortunately not, as we comply with government legislation, which prohibits this. If you do wish to take a comfort break then please ask your driver to stop on route.
I don’t know what time to book my journey for – are you able to help me?
We can do this. Having expert knowledge of the motorways helps us provide you with the information that allows you to decide if you need to book more time for the journey or if the roads are likely to be quieter.
How can I pay for my journey?
You can pay using cash and all major credit and debit cards. Cheque payment is no longer accepted.
Do I get a receipt with my journey?
Please ask the driver on arrival and they will be able to issue you with a hand written one. Should you need something more, please ask the office.
